Recently, in association with The Social Workers Program at Canadore College, $2,500 representing the net proceeds from the March 31st, Rotary TV Bingo was donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters in North Bay.That week's Bingo was a collaborative effort between Don Coutts and the Rotary Bingo Committee and the Social Workers Program, as the students were eager to learn about community fund-raising and study the Rotary Bingo model.
In addition, Cogeco - YourTV purchased 100 Bingo envelopes that were distributed for free among the senior assisted care residences in the city resulting in more than 1,000 Bingo packages being purchased that week.
