ImageEntering its 11th year, Rotary will once again be holding its radio-a-thon fundraiser in support of local youth with special needs from April 3rd to 5th.

In 2003, then EZ Rock morning show host Scott Clark vowed to stay on the air 50 consecutive hours to raise much need funds for N.A.D.Y. (Nipissing Association of Disable Youth) and the supporting program Rotary 4 Kids.

Since then subsequent EZ Rock morning show ho...sts have taken up the challenge. This year, beginning at 5am on Wednesday, April 3rd the team of Kevin & Big Mike will be live on the air for 53 consecutive hours, ending the marathon on Friday, April 5th at 10 am.

The Longest Morning Ever will take place at Northgate Shopping Centre (Sears Court), culminating with a final morning show breakfast at Burger World on Hammond Street (April 5th, 7-10am)

Since its inception, the Radio Marathon has raised over $560,000 used to purchased equipment and support programs for disabled youth in our community.  All thanks to the generous donors - individuals, families, organizations and businesses - large and small!
