Former Exchange Student Reagan Lawton Heading to Canada-wide Science Fair

Reagan Lawton, 2014-2015 Rotary Youth Exchange Student to Manta, Ecuador, and Ashleigh Brady, will be competing at the Canada-wide Science Fair in Montreal, May 15-20. Reagan and Ashleigh, both senior students at Widdifield Secondary School, received the Rotary Club of North Bay Award of Excellence at the North Bay Regional Science Fair held on April 13th. Their project is called "Company in the Shower".Joining them as part of the North Bay Regional Team - Gabrielle Russo of St. Luke’s Catholic Elementary School for her project “Stripping Down the Sugars” and Riley Geisler and Caleb Charette of West Ferris Secondary for their project “Synthetic 3D Printed Heart”.
The Rotary award includes funding support to cover the team's travel and accommodation expenses at the Canada-wide fair and a school plaque.
