Our Rotary club is very pleased and excited to be sponsoring the 2025-2026 Education Series.

Rotary has been making a difference in our community and beyond since 1923. And we have always been ready and willing to get involved in projects and initiatives, both large and small.

Rotary members were introduced to ‘Chewie’, a specially bred and highly trained trauma canine at the noon meeting today, along with K9 Handler Gillian MacIntosh with Victim Services of Nipissing District (VSND) and Constable Doug MacIntosh, North Bay Police Service.

The Rotary club has come on board to assist with financing the program, which relies 100% on fundraising and receives no government support. The contribution amounts to $5,000 annually mostly for food supplies and veterinarian bills.

Rotary makes high-quality health care available to vulnerable mothers and children so they can live longer and grow stronger. Read more >
