This year’s “rotary4kids Presents…Kevin and Big Mike’s Longest Morning” fundraiser raised over $90,000 and counting, with pledges continuing to come in after the Longest Morning show came to an end at 10:00 a.m. today.  The goal was $1000 an hour for 53 hours.

Kevin Oschefski and Mike Bissett, EZ Rock morning show hosts, took to the airwaves at 5:00 am on April 3rd, broadcasting from Sears Court at Northgate Shopping Centre with the final 3 hours at Burger World on Hammond Street.

This was the 11th year the Rotary Club of North Bay has organized the radio-a-thon in partnership with the Nipissing Association for Disabled Youth (NADY) and EZ Rock 100.5 FM.

All the funds raised stay in the community and go towards supporting local children and youth with special needs, largely through Rotary’s partnership with One Kids Place and NADY.

The continued success of this fundraiser would not be possible without the very generous support of the sponsors, individuals and families, and so many local organizations and businesses, both large and small.
