A GLP Global Grant Is Getting Special Recognition from TRF! As part of its centennial celebrations in Atlanta next June, The Rotary Foundation will be recognizing 10 outstanding global grants closed in the 2015-16 Rotary year, and guess what? One of them is a GLP global grant! |
The Rotary Club of North Bay and the Rotary Club of North Bay-Nipissing, currently along with 5 other clubs in Rotary District 7010, are part of the 120+ Rotary clubs around the world participating in this project.
The grant, hosted by the Rotary Clubs of Guatemala Vista Hermosa and Summit County, Colorado, brought literacy and training to over 6,000 children and teachers in Guatemala and is being recognized for its
- community impact,
- sustainability,
- Rotarian involvement, and
- replicability.
