2012 Mayor's Gala
The Social Event of the Year!
The Rotary Club of North Bay is pleased to present the 2012 Mayor’s Gala – the social event of the year – on June 2nd at the renowned Clarion Resort Pinewood Park. The Gala is a fundraiser for the Community Waterfront Friends Children’s Park.
The North Bay Rotary Club has pledged to raise $125,000 for the Children’s Park.
As befits a black tie Mayor’s Gala, the décor will be very elegant. The meal and hors d’oeuvres, prepared by Executive Chef Graham Gattenby, will be a gastronomical delight. Music will be by 2 live orchestras. Seating will be limited to 350 to ensure exclusivity. Special attendants will greet you as you pull up to the main entrance. Paparazzi and a Red Carpet will tickle your pride. The inimitable Scott Clark will be our Master of Ceremonies and auctioneer.
This must attend gala event is sure to be a very memorable evening!
This fundraising extravaganza is in keeping with the Club’s primary focus of helping children and youth overcome adversity. Whether it be building handicapped access, mechanical lifts, medical financial assistance or honouring academic excellence, Group Study Exchanges, scholarships and much more, Rotary has been there for our young people for the last 88 years and is committed to continuing onwards into the future.
The citizens and businesses of North Bay and area have always supported us and without them Rotary could not carry out the numerous projects and initiatives each and every year.
The Rotary Club of North Bay, The Mayor His Worship Al McDonald and the Community Waterfront Friends all look forward to seeing you at the Clarion at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 2nd.
Tickets are $150 including a charitable tax receipt. Tickets may be requested online at tickets@mayorsgala.ca or from any Club Rotarian.
